Wei (Natalie) Luo is an applied microeconomist and works as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Jinan University in Guangzhou, China. She earned her Ph.D. from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She is also a fellow of the Global Labor Organization (GLO).
Her research focuses on institutions, technological change, and economic development, with a particular focus on: 1) the interplay between institutions, labor markets, and household dynamics; 2) the welfare effects of technology adoption.
