Wei (Natalie) Luo is an applied microeconomist and works as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Jinan University in Guangzhou, China. She earned her Ph.D. from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She is also a fellow of the Global Labor Organization (GLO).
Her research interests lie in the intersection of development, public, and labor economics, with a focus on: 1) the role of institutions in shaping labor market and household dynamics; 2) the welfare impacts of new technology adoption.
